Water Cycle Story Dance – Narration

The clouds are drifting across the sky
Making interesting shapes as they float up high Changing shapes as they go
The clouds start to gather over the mountains, coming closer They get denser and heavier and darker as they gather
And it starts to rain

The water flows in little streams down the mountain Jumping over rocks, passing the trees and animals Making soft watery sounds
The stream joins up with other streams The water swirls as they come together At the base of the mountain
All the streams come together to make A large slow river

The river moves wide and slow A mighty river, flowing strong Winding slowly…
Until it comes to the waterfalls The water crashes and splashes And splashes and crashes

Now becoming a fast river Fast fast fast
The river flows on and on Down through the valley Winding through the forest Until it flows into the ocean
Slowing down as it merges into the ocean

It is night time and the ocean is very calm and quite As the sun rises the ocean begins to roll
making small waves, you can hear the waves
as the day grows, the waves get bigger and bigger and bigger
And the waves get bigger and stronger… crashing

Some of the water evaporates
Up into the sky, condensing into clouds The clouds go drifting across the sky
Making interesting shapes as they float up high Changing shapes as they go
The clouds start to gather over the mountains, coming closer They get denser and heavier and darker as they gather
And it starts to rain…
